ABOUT HADLEY SMITH

Hadley Smith has always had a voice, but it wasn’t until her junior year at Clemson that she decided to really give music a shot. Tired of the usual weekend routine, she picked up her mom’s guitar and started learning songs that spoke to her. Before long, she realized how much those songs connected to her own life and stories.

 

She naturally found herself drawn to the music she grew up on—country, folk, and Christian songs her parents always had playing around the house. Those sounds shaped her style and still inspire the way she plays today.

 

Over the last couple of years, Hadley has gone from strumming in her room to playing shows all around the Upstate. By day she works a corporate job, but by night she loves nothing more than singing, playing, and giving people a good time through music.

 

Oh, and yes—that’s her with Kelsea Ballerini right over there. (She’ll happily tell you that story… probably more than once.)
